What our customers are saying

  • Carly Neher – Post Coordinator “The Bridge” Season 2 – Warner Bros Television

Crash Symphony Productions was beyond excellent to work with!  Being in LA, scheduling in Australia had its challenges, but everyone at the studio made a tremendous effort to get back to me as soon as possible. At times, due to actor schedules, ADR can be tricky, but much-needed at the last minute. Crash Symphony worked with the actor’s tight schedule, to make sure all of our studio’s needs were met!

  • Margaret McHugh – Director

“I have so enjoyed working with Matt and found him to be a dedicated and mature artist. In fact I so enjoyed our collaboration that immediately asked him to work with me on my next film.

I love Matt’s ability to respond to the script, characters, and the insanity of a director in a skilled, productive and creative way. I respect Matt’s creative ideas and admire his ability to easily and confidently handle many different music genres. ”

  • Katia Nizic – Film Producer and Critic

“Matt is not only a talented musician and composer who will write beautiful music for your film; he’s a true creative professional.

  • Laura Scrivano, Writer/Director Winner – 2013 European Union Film Award (The Orchard)

“Matt is a joy to work with. He has an instinctive understanding of drama, composing beautifully for both performance and story. His subtle, delicate score for The Orchard contributes immensely to the atmosphere, metaphor and subtext of the film, helping the audience access the feeling states and complex character perspectives of the film.

I highly recommend Matt and his work to both producers and directors.”

Sydney’s Premier Studio for Professional Vocal Recording.

recording studios for allThe reason that Crash Symphony Productions has become THE Sydney Recording studio to work at over other recording studios, is because we have endeavored to strike the right balance between the old-school analogue art of recording audio, and the modern ‘In-the box’ approach to making music. We have some of the coolest old microphones, preamplifiers and audio compressors ever made, mixed with all the latest and fastest computing power and software plug-ins. We understand that when it comes to the Recording studio, it’s all about embracing new technology, never forgetting the old methods, and combining all this knowledge in the present to make beautiful, artistic music. After all, in the world of music, the recording studio needs to be treated like a musical instrument that allows artists to express themselves freely.

Voice over work is something that we take extremely seriously here at the recording studio. We have worked tirelessly, putting in every possible effort and dollar to make sure that we have the most superior vocal recording chain available anywhere in the world. Whilst we can present musical clients with an array of different microphones and sounds for their specific music genre, the voice over world is extremely competitive when it comes to the spoken word. Whether it is voice over for movies, commercials, corporate media projects or radio- OUR recorded vocal sound cannot be matched by any other studio. This is our thing. We have a purpose-built vocal recording booth, which has a silent air-conditioning system specifically designed not to compromise the quality of the recorded audio. This sounds simple, but is actually extremely difficult and expensive for an engineer. In addition, our booth is also below street level and is acoustically isolated so the world outside and in the control room has no chance of intruding on the recording of the voice over.
