Voice Over Sydney: How to run a successful session

This voice over sydney guide blog carries on from the last one “Preparing for a voice over session”.  Just to recap, some of the most important things to consider while preparing for Voice Over Sydney session  are: 1) Ensure that the studio is clean, tidy and organised. 2) Have all of the equipment set up, tested and ready.  Now we move onto the most important things to consider at the actual session.

Voice Over Sydney: Be early

It is important to arrive at the studio at least 30 minutes before the session. At least 1 hour if you haven’t set up the equipment for the voice over Sydney session.  Business and professional people are usually on time and quite often early.  It is common that the client themselves will arrive 15 minutes early.  By arriving early you can do the final checks to make sure that everything is working and also be at a relaxed pace so that you don’t appear flustered or rushed when the client or voice over Sydney talent arrives

Voice Over Sydney: Offer water

Many people carry water with them these days but it is always a good idea to have some water on hand to offer to the voice over sydney talent or the client.  Especially if it is a long session it is important that everyone especially the voice over sydney talent stays hydrated.

Voice Over Sydney: Make sure the client is comfortable

Clients are the lifeblood of our voice over sydney business so if we do everything to make sure they are comfortable and have a pleasant experience then they are much more likely to recommend us to others.  Ensure that the studio is equipped with a sofa for them to sit on or at least a comfortable chair for the duration.  Ensure that the temperature of the studio is ok for them and use heating or Air conditioning to adjust it is required.
